HiPEAC 2026

The HiPEAC’26 conference took place in Krakow from January 26th to 28th. At the CAPE booth close to the reception, welcomed many interested people.

We presented on our booth:

  • 5 Posters (Overview, eHPS, EMDC, Software Framework and Use Cases)
  • A live hardware demonstrator showing live Kubernetes orchestration on our eHPS – embedded High Performance Server
  • A “booth-load” of modular hardware components (EMDC, and COM-Express/COM-HPC modules)

At the third day we held our HiPEAC workshop “Cognitive Edge–Cloud Architectures, Orchestration, and Standardisation ” were our CAPE members Fred Buining, Jens Hagemeyer, and Yiannis Georgiou presented their view on Digital Sovereignty, the next generation of modular edge servers, cluster orchestration and the cognitive framwork for AI-assisted deployment.

In addition Manolis Marazakis from CAPE’s sister EU-project HIGHER presented their current status.
